CEV: Champions League Pool Play Coming to a Close

Here’s a list of guys playing today and where you can find the game.

Arkas Izmir (TUR) will be looking to move on to the playoff round once again after their fourth place finish in 2012. Led by Men’s National team head coach, Glenn Hoag, Izmir is sitting in second place in Pool F at 3-2 and will be facing off against Marek Union Ivkoni Dupnitsa (BUL). In their last outing, Izmir topped Dupnitsa 3-1. Watch out for Men’s National team players Gord Perrin and Adam Simac. Don’t miss a minute by watching here at 11:00 p.m. EST.

ACH Volley Ljublajana (SLO) is also looking to move on to the playoff round. Sitting at 3-2, and are tied with their opponent, Generali Hatching (GER). It’s a classic, winner takes all show down, and Canada’s Dan Lewis will be in the middle of it. Don’t for get to check it out here at 1:30 a.m. EST.

The other match in Pool D features Euphony Asse-Lennik (BEL), who boast U of A alumni Thomas Jarmoc, and Lube Banca Marche Macerata (ITA). Macerata is one of the top Italien teams and has already clinched a spot in the playoff round, and Asse-Lennik will not be moving on. Check it out here at 2:30 p.m. EST.
