Olympics: Indoor Volleyball Pools

Olympic volleyball begins Saturday. Photo: London2012.com

The Olympics are almost here and indoor volleyball starts almost immediately on July 28th with the first matches of group play.  On the women's side of the tournament, the American team is looking like the favourite with a gold medal at FIVB World Grand Prix earlier this month.  While the American men do look strong as well coming off a silver medal in 2012 FIVB World League, the men's field looks much more open.  Poland is playing extremely well and defeated the USA in that final for World League gold.

Take a look at the pools below.  The women's tournament will run from July 28th - August 11th and the men's tournament is offset by one day running July 29th - August 12th.
