Beach: Felipe Humana-Paredes to Replace Injured Hatch

There's another Humana-Paredes competing for Canada! Felipe Humana-Paredes (Toronto, On) is heading down to the Cayman Islands to pair up with Christian Redmann (Oro, On) at the first NORCECA stop of the season.

Redmann picked up Felipe after Maverick Hatch (Comox, BC) suffered an injury during pre-season training in California. Hatch will be taking time off to recover from the injury.

The older brother of Melissa, Felipe played four years for the York Lions before heading to the Full Time Training Centre for the Indoor team in Gatineau. After being selected to the "B" team last summer, the Toronto native moved back to Toronto to join the Beach team in the fall.

Felipe has previously competed for Canada one time, when he partnered with Grant O'Gorman (Toronto, ON) at the 2011 Québec Open where they fell to Mexico in qualification.

Here's his highlight video from the FTC's 2014 trip to France.
