FIVB: 2016 Toronto World Tour Finals

This week we are... home.  It's no secret that Volleyball Source is a Canadian operation and we're very proud of the rise of volleyball in our country in recent years.  This week we are proud to have the Swatch Major Series World Tour Finals in our own backyard at Toronto's Polson Pier.  We've been to many stops on the FIVB World Tour, but now it's our time to host.  We encourage our Toronto and southern Ontario viewers to come down and check out the event in person, admission is free.  For those who are unable to make it, as always, we've got the teams list, matches, scores and live streams right here.

In a very odd turn of events, Canadian Olympians Sarah Pavan and Heather Bansley have decided to end their partnership.  As they were scheduled to take one of the spots available in Toronto this week, Major Series organizers have decided the spot will be awarded via a country quota match of sorts.  Pavan has partnered with Melissa Humana-Paredes and Bansley with Brandie Wilkerson in a single match to gain entry into the tournament.  That match will be played at 5:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday September 13, 2016.
